Description

In 2016 I had recently started working at a parish named after St. Joseph, but wasn’t very satisfied with the very few hymns in our hymnal that mentioned St. Joseph at all. I found a hymn text that I really liked from the late 19th century, and decided to set it to a simple tune that could be easily learned, yet somehow expressed my own reaction to the hymn’s message.
